Psalm 34:10

“The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing”

Some versions call this as ‘young lions.’ They depend on the older lions-their parents for the supply of their hunger and needs. And sometimes the old lions may fail to bring any food after a long tiring unsuccessful hunt.

We can also imply that the lions are the opulent and authoritative people who control nations, lands and society yet they too fail many times in meeting the needs of the people around them. So instead of depending on mortal beings, our reliance and attention should be fixed heavenward from where every good thing originates.

Prayer: God, you’re a good Father. You are a rich God. You never sleep nor slumber. You watch over us. I look to you and rest in you for providence and provision, Amen.
