“For his anger is but for a moment, and his favour is for a lifetime. Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning.”
I just love this promise from the Lord! You may be weeping tonight. Sorrowful tonight! Despairing tonight! Night seems to linger too long and you are about to give in. Don’t! That tears shed are never lost in vain. His favour overpowers his anger.
God is still on His throne and His promises are trustworthy.
Prayer: May God fill me with everlasting unending joy as I rely on Him completely, Amen.
