Psalm 85:12
The LORD will indeed give what is good, and our land will yield its harvest.
The providence of God on the earth is amply supplied. There is enough food, water and shelter for everybody. He indeed loves to bless his creation with all that is good and pleasant. The rising of the sun, the cool breeze of the wind, the shower of rain and the change of seasons are all in harmony with his divine plan and purpose. God does not withhold any good things from his people. The bountiful harvest at the labour of our hands is imperatively established by God. Although the ground is cursed, God’s gracious goodness is seen in the plentiful produce of living things. It is His doings that makes the trees and plants to produce fruits and seed for mankind and for animals.
Prayer: Lord, I praise you for your goodness that enables the ground to yield its harvest, Amen.
